I was approached by the lovely folk at Nasty Gal, a brand I have followed since it was a small but super cool vintage shop on Ebay. At the time the £ was so strong against the $ me and my friend were buying all our vintage from the US, by far, Nasty Gal was the best at what they did. Whist trawling through eBay for the prefect 80's trashy lame cocktail dress, Nasty Gal images always popped out, the aesthetic was so strong and everything so well styled.
12 years later Nasty Gal is a world wide brand, it has switched to sell its own label of clothes, on her own website and still killing it. I was very excited to be asked to work with such a cool brand that I had first sparked my interest is fashion and style.
I obviously jumped at the chance...
The location for the shoot was this Mid Century dream, straight of Tom Fords 'A Single Man' set.
Along with my lovely assistant Lizzy, we prepped and styled the set, made props, lugged around furniture, steamed, taped, pinned, cleared and perfected each location ready for shooting.
A couple of snaps I managed to get in between all the madness....
Can not wait to see the final results, the bits I managed to catch on the day looked sooooo good!!
